Who are we?
Camp Opportunity of Maryland provides an overnight summer camp experience for Maryland children ages 8-11 who have experienced abuse and neglect. Our one-to-one camper-to-counselor ratio and year-round programming is what makes the Camp Opportunity experience so powerful.
REAL CAMP LIFE
The activities and classes at camp are designed to build self-esteem, teach problem solving skills, foster relationships with positive adult role models and improve the children’s ability to handle stress.
1-to-1 RATIO
Our 1-to-1 camper-to-counselor ratio is a core part of what makes Camp Opportunity so unique.
Every child has the consistent support of dedicated counselors by their side, ensuring they feel seen, valued, and safe throughout camp.

The grounds contain cabins with attached bathrooms and AC, a dining hall, a swimming pool, basketball and gaga courts, an arts barn, and hiking trails.
