Why Camp Opportunity?
“As an educator with summers off, I sought a meaningful way to stay engaged in the lives of children. With a deep passion for both education and holistic well-being, I discovered that Camp Opportunity offers the perfect blend of growth, learning, and fun—an opportunity to make a positive impact while embracing the joys of the season!
I am committed to fostering strong, lasting relationships with our camp families while prioritizing the mental, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual well-being of both campers and staff.
As the Camper Care Specialist, Corri will be leading our camper care initiatives, including our trauma-informed Journey program, virtual cabin time, and assisting our campers in their application process.
My goal is to ensure every camper's successful integration into the camp community, supporting their growth and well-being throughout the entire program year. I plan to cultivate a positive and supportive environment where both campers and staff can learn, grow, and thrive. I strive to build meaningful, long-lasting relationships with everyone involved, ensuring that each camper feels seen, valued, and supported every day in some way.
I’m a huge fan of reading and vacationing—nothing beats getting lost in a good book or escaping to my favorite spots: the beach and a cozy cabin in the woods. At home, I have two dogs, Chloe and Tucker, and two cats, Snow White and Phoenix. I have a serious soft spot for adopting animals—I just can’t resist giving them a loving home!”
